TOURAINE GAMAY RED
Gamay
The first slopes of the Cher valley are conducive to the good maturation of red grapes from the Touraine AOC.
This cuvée is crafted with grapes partly hand-harvested, for its fruity, appealing and easy-drinking character, and partly destemmed, for supple tannins and just the right amount of spice. A Gamay therefore, but above all a harmonious, balanced and elegant wine that honors Touraine.
Tasting Note
Rare are the wines from this grape variety that have such a deep red robe. Its youth gives it some violet hues. Ripe red fruit accompanies the entire tasting. On the palate, the tannins are silky and well-coated for a harmonious and balanced wine.
Food Pairing
To be enjoyed with your charcuterie and white meats or during your summer barbecues. Also worth trying with cooked fish.
Serving temperature: 12 à 14°C (or even cooler to serve as an aperitif)
